2022 National Hereford Woman of the Year​

National Hereford Women are proud to announce its 2022 Woman of the Year. Donna Curry, a former member of the NHW board of directors was, according to her nomination letter, a woman of strong faith who had a contagious smile and a boisterous laugh. Her helping hands were felt by more than just the Hereford community as her love for her family and youth shined through her bright personality. Her favorite saying was, “Make it a great day or not, that choice is yours.” Her days were filled with family as she was dedicated to showing them how to be a good person, a Godly person and a positive force for those around them. Another famous saying by Donna was, “Don’t forget to thank God for those special moments.” Her nomination letter read that she truly made the positive choice to make all those around her great and she recognized that all times were special. Donna smiled big, hugged long and loved with all her might. National Hereford Women presented Donna’s family with the Woman of the Year honoring her with a leather bag and a golden Hereford at the 2022 annual meeting held in Kansas City, KS.
